Ways You Can Help

There are several ways you can help this website. Some of them don’t cost anything but a tiny bit of your time. Please read and learn more.

First, I want to thank you for reading this page!
I appreciate your taking the time to see how you might help.

There are many, many passages in the Bible that tell us to assist others and God. In Malachi 3:6-12, God says that those who do not pay their whole tithes to God are robbing Him, and are under a curse!

However, we should not assist only because we feel forced into it. Everyone should be happy to do good things for other people, and for God. As the Bible says,

2 Corinthians 9:7

“7 Each according to the heart’s choosing (not out of sorrow or out of compulsion), because God loves the cheerful giver.”

A person can’t make himself or herself a “cheerful” giver: either a person has a passion to give something, or the person doesn’t. However, it is typically much easier for us to be generous with something we have in excess than something which we ourselves lack (Mark 12:41-44; Luke 21:1-4).

God be thanked and praised that there are many who have been blessed with much of this world’s wealth, and are able to distribute it liberally to those who need it. Some of us have been blessed with a greater understanding of the things of God, and are able to distribute that liberally to those who need it. Some know more people, or have greater fame. Some have greater patience, or have more time.

It is reasonable for each of us to at least give what we have in some abundance, and receive what we lack. As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 8:13-14,

2 Corinthians 8:13-14

“13 Not for the ease of others and your distress, but out of equality, in this present time your excess [should go] into the needs of others

14 that the excess of others may also come into your want, so that equality may come.”

For myself, one thing that I have to offer is the understanding given to me by God. By God’s Mercy, I am building this website to help distribute this wealth to others. Although it also requires a large amount of time and patience, I offer it cheerfully: I am very glad to do this.

From the 2 Corinthians 8:13-14 passage I just quoted, I know I have reason to hope for the excess of others to help me with my lack, and the lack of this website. Jesus Himself agreed with this in Matthew 10:10 and Luke 10:7, as did Paul in 1 Timothy 5:18.

However, throughout the ninth chapter of 1 Corinthians, Paul explains that he does not ask for the help of others. As he wrote in the second half of 1 Corinthians 9:12,

1 Corinthians 9:12b

“12b Nevertheless we do not use this authority, but are forgoing all so that we may not be giving any hindrance to the Gospel of Christ.”

In Micah 3:9-12, the destruction of Zion [Israel] and Jerusalem are prophesied because the leaders of the land judged for a bribe, the priests taught for a price, and the prophets gave false prophecy for money. God will destroy anyone who practices extortion. As Jesus said at the end of Matthew 10:8,

Matthew 10:8b

“Freely you received; freely give!”

I’m saying all these things to be honest with you about giving. I want you to have a clear view of what the Bible says on the topic. I do not want to be guilty of mistreating anyone.

Everyone who comes to this website is very welcome to get what is offered here, and leave without giving anything back at all, not even a “thank you”. I do not wish to put demands on anyone. I have received freely, so it is only right that I give freely. It is my intention to continue to add to the contents of this site, and to always make those contents available for free to anyone who visits.

However, I do have needs, including needs related to this website. And I know that there are other people in the world who want to be helpful, and would be glad to help me, and this site. This page is for those who really want to help, and will do so “cheerfully”.

Social media

One of the most helpful things that you can do is also one of the easiest, and is almost free! All that is required is just a very few moments of your time.

Social media activities help in two ways:

  1. it immediately “spreads the word” about the site to all of your friends, or anyone else that reads your post; and
  2. it encourages search engines (e.g. Google, Yahoo, Bing) to recommend the site more often to web searchers.

The more people who visit this site, the more people who can benefit from it, as well as the more people who can help the site (what you and I can’t do, perhaps some other visitor can do).

Examples of social media activities:

  • giving a Facebook “like” or a Google “+1” to this site and/or any of its pages;
  • leaving Facebook comments at the bottom of a webpage;
  • “tweeting” a post about the site and/or a page on Twitter;
  • “pinning” something on Pinterest; and
  • posting about the site on LinkedIn.

Of course, these are just examples: any kind of internet link that links back to this site will be helpful.

I have provided “buttons” for many of the most popular social media activities, to make helping as easy as I can.

Links

If you have a webpage (such as a Facebook profile), you can post links directly to pages on this website. You can also include links to pages from this site in comments you make on other sites, or questions that you answer on answer sites.

Purchases

Anything advertised on this site is being sold for the same price through this site as it would cost to buy it directly from the advertiser; and purchasing through this site will provide financial help to me and this site.

Monetary Contributions

Any monetary contributions to this site will be greatly appreciated.

You can make a contribution using the "Pay Now" button in the upper right corner of this page.

However, please note that this site is NOT “tax exempt”; therefore, contributions are NOT tax deductible.

By paying taxes, it is possible for this site to speak the whole truth.
Websites in the United States that are tax exempt sometimes get into legal difficulties for some of the things that they post. I disagree with this sort of treatment; but I also realize that it does happen. Paying taxes is better than telling "half-truths" (which are just a type of "whole lies"). The messages on this site are needed by the world; and they need to be protected.

This website is worth the cost.

See Matthew 22:17-21; Mark 12:14-17; and Luke 20:21-25; and Romans 12:18.

Thank you!

I want to thank you again for your help! Please know, that God knows whatever assistance you are able to give, and will certainly reward it! Thank you so much! God bless you!

Mark 9:40-41 (also see Matthew 10:41-42)

“40 For whoever is not against us is for us.

41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My Name, because you are Christ’s, truly I tell you, he will never lose his reward.”

(Also see Matthew 25:40; Hebrews 6:10; and Proverbs 19:17.)

One last thing you might be able to do...
